In a joint effort with the Quality Improvement Project for Health Services, the Jordanian Ministry of Health has released a nationwide computerized registry for patients with cystic fibrosis. The register, which Electronic Health Solutions is implementing with USAID's assistance, will make a sizable database for digitizing records of genetic and uncommon diseases available. Researchers, politicians, and healthcare professionals will all benefit from the registry's data, which will help with both treatment and prevention efforts.
Aiming to improve quality through evidence-based procedures, the register seeks to standardize healthcare delivery across institutions. Lung function testing devices have been provided to healthcare facilities by the government to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment assessment.
