Developing CF Care in Egypt

MECFA and Prof Samya Nasr, the CF Director of the Mott CF Center in Michigan have teamed up to host CF allied health workshops to take place in Cairo Egypt June-July 2022.

Prof Nasr and her CF team, PT (Chris Tapley, CPT) and Dietitian (Stacey Fogarty-Brown, RD., CSP) will travel to Egypt to carry out specialized allied health training for clinicians, allied health and families. The workshops will take place at the Aims Shams CF Center in Cairo.

Four participating CF Centers will travel to Cairo to take part in the training from Alexandria University, Zagazig University, Assuit University and Sohag University teams and CF families.
